Small business owners are still struggling to fill open positions, and many are losing out on revenue because of it.
About 22% of small business owners are currently experiencing a significant staffing shortage, with another 18% experiencing a moderate staffing shortage, according to a survey by the National Federation of Independent Business.
And of those businesses experiencing a staffing shortage, about 19% are seeing a significant loss of sales opportunities and 30% are experiencing a moderate loss of sales opportunities, according to the survey. The situation also hasn’t improved over the same time last month, with most business owners saying their staffing shortage has not changed.
