A 20-year-old Tulsa man who just started his own business said thieves stole more than $2,000 worth of equipment from him.
He said he started the business three months ago so he could support his mom, now he’s having to borrow equipment, just to keep working.
Anthony Villavicencio took a risk and started his own business to give him and his mom a better life. Now he’s having to scrounge up more money to start over again, all thanks to thieves.
“They bent the locks. Everything was taken, two blowers, a hedge trimmer. They took a blade edger and a weed eater,” said Villavicencio.
Villavicencio said more than half of his landscaping equipment is gone, including his new lawn mower.
“Honestly I started breaking down that day, I didn’t know what to do,” said Villavicencio.
Villavicencio said he got back from a family vacation earlier this week, saw his gas tank in the yard and immediately knew someone broke into his trailer.
