In two years, Tony Khan has built All Elite Wrestling into WWE’s first real threat in more than two decades. He gives us an inside look at the promotion’s success, with his billionaire father—Jaguars owner Shahid Khan—telling us what he told his son a few years ago: “Look, when I’m dead and gone, I’m going to be leaving you and your sister a lot of money. Why don’t you blow some of that while I’m alive?”
Sports Business
DraftKings has yet to turn a profit, but its three cofounders see vast potential for growth as more states legalize sports betting. “What gives us confidence, and I think gives investors confidence, is that we are profitable in our longest-tenured state, New Jersey,” one tells us.
