UNM Anderson School of Management receives Outdoor Recreation Business Accelerator Grant: UNM Newsroom

The New Mexico for Good program in the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management has been awarded a $20,000 grant to help outdoor recreation businesses grow and thrive in the state. The grant is one of three provided by the Outdoor Recreation Division of the New Mexico Economic Development Department.  

Grants were created to fund accelerators with a proven track record and well-developed plan to held outdoor recreation companies and individuals to improve their business plans, hire locally, and amplify New Mexico’s reputation as a leader in the outdoor industry.

New Mexico for Good will use the funding to offer certificate programs and pilot two short courses: Introduction to Outdoor Economy and Validating an Outdoor Recreation Business Idea.
