SPRINGFIELD — Valley Venture Mentors returned last week to in-person programming with its first non-virtual Community Night since March of 2020.
“It’s tough when your superpower is hosting large-scale meetings and the governor says ‘no mas,’” said Chris Bignell, Valley Venture Mentors interim CEO.
But on July 14, more than 100 people signed up to hear pitches from Valley Venture Mentors graduate companies including Pure Life Soaps; NA Brews, which looks to distribute microbrewery alcoholic and nonalcoholic beer on the internet; Leaders of the Free World, an international experience and leadership development program for young Black men; White Lion Brewing; and Cojourn, a personal goal achievement program.
