FLINT, MI — A woman is in critical condition after a shooting Thursday afternoon at a hair supply store in Flint, police said.
Police could be seen at the scene of the shooting at Hair Zone in the 2800 block of Flushing Road shortly before 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 17.
Flint Police Chief Terence Green confirmed with MLive-The Flint Journal that a woman was shot at the business. She was transported to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition.
Green said one person was taken into custody.
The shooting investigation is ongoing.
Police tape blocked the entrance to the business as officers investigated the scene.
Thursday afternoon’s shooting marked the third such incident in less than 48 hours in the city.
Three people were injured in two separate shootings in Flint Wednesday. Two of Wednesday’s victims are in critical condition .
