Woodland closures, both temporary and permanent

Staff at the Thirsty Goat — a bar located at 102 Main St. in Woodland — announced a temporary closure due to COVID-19 concerns.

“Dear Woodland and Thirsty Goat customers, unfortunately we have recently been informed by at least two unvaccinated guests that they were not following CDC masking protocol while enjoying Thirsty Goat and have since tested positive with COVID,” a statement on the Thirsty Goat Facebook page states. “Even more unfortunate, our manager and an additional employee have contracted COVID, in spite of both being vaccinated.”

Due to these unprecedented moments, Thirsty Goat management decided it was best to close Thirsty Goat effective Wednesday and reopen on Saturday, July 31 “out of an abundance of caution and care for employees and customers.”
