On Saturday, Woodland’s County Fair Fashion Mall held the now weekly indoor pop-up event filled with local small businesses.
The business pop-up will run every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.for the foreseeable future, according to Mall Manager Victor Rodriguez, and is an attempt to increase exposure to its storefronts and allow small businesses that just started growing throughout the pandemic to showcase what they offer.
The mall is located at 1264 E Gibson Rd.
Saturday’s business pop-up event was the fourth one to take place at the mall, as Rodriguez hopes to keep them running.
“It’s really starting to get some momentum going,” Rodriguez said. “What I want to do here is bring more clientele back to the mall. I know that there is a lot of people that have started up small businesses through social media, so if getting a unit is too expensive, I want to provide them with space to come in here, set up a booth, and get their business…
