Cache Creek Lavender in Rumsey is hosting its annual Lavender Festival this weekend.
The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Visitors can harvest their own lavender while enjoying food from Rustic BBQ, local wines and lavender ice cream.
Cache Creek Lavender is located at 3430 Madrone Street in Rumsey.

Hobby’s Brewing — a Winters restaurant and brewhouse — has expanded to a second location.
Hobby’s Farm held its grand opening last month in Davis.
The farm, located at 24830 County Road 95, is open to the public on Saturdays from noon to 8 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.
